I thought it died a nice quiet death, until Brian Mark tagged me with this thingamabobber called a blog tag. Mrs. Rumblepup is laughing so hard that the poor girl must’ve coughed up the Barbie Secret Decoder Ring she swallowed when she was six.

In all honesty, it’s a cool way to spread some link luv, so a spreading I is.

5 things you didn’t know about rumblepup:

1. I first learned HTML by using FrontPage. Stop laughing. You can stop laughing anytime now. Yes, snickering counts as laughing.
2. I was a bass player with a band called THE VOZ that was signed by Maverick on a Tuesday, and dropped by Maverick on Friday. We toured up the East Coast for one year, and actually came back with $76.32 more than when we left. There’s a rumor that our CD is still out there somewhere. If you’re interested in listening to it, I’ll burn out a copy for the measly price of 60,000.00 dollars. (Just kidding, drop me a line and I’ll burn out our last live performance for you.)
3. I met the beautiful Mrs. Rumblepup online via eharmony. Best 50 bucks I’ve ever spent in my life, because I found the love of my life.
4. I’m a total geekazoid science fiction, horror, fantasy and comic book lover. Scifi Channel is on my preset, because I love Battlestar Galactica. Marvel’s Civil War is some of the best damn writing and art I’ve ever seen. I love anything by Warren Ellis, and DC’s Infinite Crisis was da bomb!
5. I’m generation ñ Cuban-American. Generation ñ is our little version of Generation X. I’m born from the first generation of Cubans living in exile after escaping Fidel Castro’s Cuba in 57 – 59. Of course, you can gather that I was born in New Jersey, and was raised in Miami, Florida. It’s kind of the rule. All Cubans must first live in New Jersey, then hightail it down to Miami, at the very least a little town called Hialeah, where if you’re lucky, you might actually speak English on some occasions. There’s a secret handshake for getting past the city borders and everything. Spanglish is my lingua franka.
